Keen to get out and about in and around Batemans Bay? Well, there's plenty to do.
First off, let's be clear that there's absolutely nothing wrong with coming to Lilli Pilli Sublime for some downtime. If lazy days lounging around in a beautiful house are what you're after, you're perfectly placed to recharge your batteries and escape the daily grind.
But if you're up for a bit of adventure and excitement, you'll find the Eurobodalla Coast and Batemans Bay positively brimming with opportunities for activity and wonder.
You have Lilli Pilli Beach a short stroll from the house itself. Beautiful Malua Bay and Surf Beach are only a short drive away. For info on patrolled beaches, click here.
We are now dog-friendly as well so bring the whole family. Well mannered dogs will be considered. The closest beach is 300m walk and dog-friendly.
If you're a fan of walking tracks, you'll be pleased to know there are several outstanding walks in the area – check them out here.
Local tourist attractions include the brilliant Birdland Animal Park, where visitors can get up close and personal with the animals, take a ride on the train and more. Eurobodalla Botanic Gardens is also a grand place to visit, with walking tracks, a cafe and playground. If you have a skater in the family, they'll find plenty to keep them occupied at the local skate park. Or why not take some surf lessons ? or play mini golf ?
Slightly further afield we have Mogo, home to the truly remarkable Mogo Zoo where visitors can feed giraffes and other animals, and a fascinating historical site in The Original Gold Rush Colony, where you can try gold panning. There are also many craft and art stores in Mogo as well as cafes and other unique features.
There's a generous selection of cafes, bakeries and takeaway shops in the immediate area and in Batemans Bay and surrounding areas. For that special dining experience try one of the seafood restaurants in Batemans Bay with water views.
